Ocon sets sights on 2017 Formula 1 seat
– Esteban Ocon says he is targeting a full-time graduation to Formula 1 in 2017, after completing two days of testing with Mercedes during the in-season running at Silverstone.Reigning GP3 champion Ocon is backed by Mercedes and received his first taste of the F1 W07 Hybrid, finishing second overall, and racking up five Grands Prix distances.Ocon, who has also completed practice runs with Renault, where he is on loan from Mercedes as its reserve driver, feels ready to make the step up to a race seat next season."The boss will decide what they want there in Renault," explained Ocon, who is combining his Formula 1 test duties with a full campaign in the DTM series."My...
