Mercedes sees Rosberg as the 'real deal'

– Toto Wolff has described Nico Rosberg as the "real deal" after the German signed a contract extension, tying him to Mercedes until at least the end of 2018.Rosberg joined Mercedes at the start of 2010 and has taken 19 victories and 25 pole positions with the team, finishing as runner-up to Lewis Hamilton in the overall standings for the past two years.Mercedes confirmed on Friday morning that it had reached an agreement with Rosberg for 2017 and 2018, a move which has delighted team boss Wolff."We are very happy," Wolff commented."It was always clear we wanted to continue.
