James Allison parts ways with Ferrari

Scuderia Ferrari announced on Wednesday that its technical director James Allison left the team after his second era in Maranello. His future is still uncertain. The Italian squad also announced his replacement. James Allison arrived in F1 with Benetton in 1991. He then joined Larrousse, but after a couple of years he went back to Benetton. In 2000, he moved to Ferrari where he played big part in the Italian team’s success as an aerodynamics expert. He left the squad in 2005 and joined Renault where he helped the French team to win two consecutive championship titles with Fernando Alonso. In September 2013, Allison joined Ferrari again where he took on the role of Technical Director....
