Formula 1 agrees to free up radio rules

– Formula 1 has agreed to relax its much-criticised radio restrictions from this weekend's German Grand Prix, following the latest meeting of the Strategy Group in Geneva.Formula 1's vote to postpone the introduction of extra head protection until 2018 headlined Thursday's proceedings in Geneva, but there were other developments.From Hockenheim, teams will now be free to send any message to their drivers during the race, aside from between the start of the formation lap and start of the race."At the request of the teams and Commercial Rights Holder, the FIA has agreed to adopt a more liberal approach to the interpretation of Article 27.1 (that a driver must drive the car...
