Red flags in qualifying to stop improvements

– Formula 1 qualifying sessions are to be red flagged immediately in the future in the event of double yellow flags being waved, FIA Race Director Charlie Whiting has confirmed.Rival drivers questioned the FIA's interpretation of the regulations after Nico Rosberg set a purple sector time under double-waved yellows to steal pole position at the Hungaroring.In a bid to avoid a repeat situation, following heavy criticism, Whiting has made clear that sessions will now be halted to ensure that drivers are not able to post improved laps."That is correct," when asked if red flags will be used to neutralise a session."Ever since we [introduced] the Virtual Safety Car in 2015...
