German GP: Button taken to hospital after eye complaint McLaren-Honda ace Jenson Button was taken to hospital following Friday’s second practice session for the German Grand Prix. ‘Jenson complained of an eye irritation during FP2, and has gone to Mannheim hospital to have a precautionary check-up,' McLaren confirmed via twitter. The Brit later confirmed on Twitter that a ‘foreign body was found and removed' and that he would be fit to return to the car for Saturday's practice and qualifying sessions.
