Wehrlein: Manor achieved target in Germany

– Pascal Wehrlein described a "very special" atmosphere at his home Formula 1 race in Germany as Manor achieved its primary target of beating the two Sauber drivers.Wehrlein, who started 17th, was running ahead of both Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr prior to the Brazilian's retirement, and ultimately finished 12 seconds clear of Ericsson.Wehrlein also survived contact with Manor team-mate Rio Haryanto, who went on to classify in 20th."It was a very straightforward race, so there were no opportunities to improve further through the field, but we still achieved our target of finishing ahead of Sauber and we got a Renault too," said Wehrlein."It was a very...
