Williams ponders Perez approach
After revealing their intentions to approach Jenson Button about a possible return to Williams, deputy team principal Claire Williams feels that Force India driver Sergio Perez would also be a viable option for the Wantage team. Williams, the daughter of team founder Frank, said that they would consider a move for the Mexican if he is available for the 2017 Formula 1 season. However, Force India team owner Vijay Mallya announced earlier in the season that both Nico Hulkenberg and Perez will be driving for the Silverstone-based outfit next year.
