Ocon never expected an early call-up
Esteban Ocon never thought he would make his Formula 1 debut this season but insists he is ready for it. Last week it was announced that the 19-year-old would replace Rio Haryanto at the Mercedes-powered Manor team for the remainder of this season. He will contest his first race at next weekend's Belgian Grand Prix and believes he is ready for it, thanks in part to his four FP1 sessions with Renault.
