Pirelli reveals Monza tyre sets

Unsurprisingly, the fastest race on the calendar sees the teams opt for the softest rubber available. However, while Haas drivers Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutierrez will take nine sets of the red-banded rubber to the Autodromo Nazionale, Red Bull drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen will take just six. Mercedes, Ferrari, Williams and Force India all take seven, as do Toro Rosso, McLaren and Manor, though Nico Hulkenberg has opted for eight sets of the supersofts. There's a difference of opinion between teammates in terms of soft and medium also, with Lewis Hamilton opting for five sets of soft and Nico Rosberg going for four.
