Ricciardo, Sainz Jr. others to trial halo in FP1
– Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo and Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz Jr. will also trial the 'halo' device during free practice for the Belgian Grand Prix, ahead of a planned introduction in 2018.Ricciardo and Sainz Jr. will have the halo fitted to their cars for Friday's first session at Spa, with Mercedes' Nico Rosberg and Force India's Nico Hülkenberg also planning to run it."As far as I know [it will be fitted for] the installation lap for the moment, and if I like it, and it doesn't upset the rear wing too much, maybe I could run it for a bit longer," Sainz Jr. said."I think it's the ideal track to check it out; in the end the visibility is tested, the pylon here through...
