Verstappen heads Red Bull 1-2 in Friday practice
Max Verstappen set the pace on Friday in practice for this Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix, as Red Bull Racing came in one-two. Timesheet topping Bulls for FP2 🇧🇪🏁 Max P1 with a 1:48.085 with Daniel in P2 1:48.341. #BelgianGP #F1 pic.twitter.com/sjuVDLRspk — Red Bull Racing (@redbullracing) August 26, 2016 Verstappen had been seventh this morning at Spa-Francorchamps, 0.083secs off team-mate, Daniel Ricciardo and a massive 1.517s shy of Nico Rosberg on a 1m 48.348s. However the Dutchman improved in FP2, posting a 1 minute 48.085 second lap, to leave him 0.256secs up on the sister car – and 0.263s up on Rosberg’s FP1 marker. More to follow.
