Spa FP2: Verstappen tops as Red Bull show their hand

Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo hogged the top of the timing screens at the end of the second free practice session of the 2016 Belgian Grand Prix weekend, Red Bull perhaps inadvertently showing their true pace as Mercedes appeared to keep their powdered dry in the afternoon session at Spa-Francorchamps. Verstappen's best lap time of 1:48.085 had the crowd on their feet as he did his final lap after the chequered flag ended the ninety minutes session. His time was a quarter of a second up on his Red Bull teammate Daniel Ricciardo. Nico Hulkenberg was third quickest and fastest of the Mercedes powered brigade, followed by Sebastian Vettel in the Ferrari in fourth and Sergio Perez fifth...
