McLaren officially confirms Alonso and Vandoorne for 2017 F1 Stoffel Vandoorne has been confirmed as a full-time McLaren-Honda race driver from the 2017 season with Fernando Alonso, after Jenson Button confirmed he would be stepping down from a race seat.
