Williams recruits Raikkonen's former Ferrari engineer

Williams has signed Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso's former race and performance engineer from Ferrari in a bid to boost its competitive form. Antonio Spagnolo worked with both Raikkonen and Alonso during a lengthy spell at Maranello, and was most recently the team's head of tyre performance. He has joined Williams as Competitor Analysis and Performance Concept Team Leader, and his focus will be on analysis of the Grove-based outfit's competitors, as well as delivering extra input on tyres.
