Palmer sure he's 'in the mix' for 2017 seat
– Jolyon Palmer is sure he is "in the mix" for one of Renault's vacant 2017 seats and believes that the remaining rounds provide a chance to prove he deserves to be retained.Palmer, the 2014 GP2 Series champion, graduated to a race seat with the returning manufacturer after spending 2015 as its test and reserve driver under the Lotus guise.Palmer finished 11th on his debut in Australia but has yet to eclipse the result, with Renault having struggled in Formula 1 this season.Renault has not named either of its 2017 drivers, with Palmer, team-mate Kevin Magnussen and Manor's Esteban Ocon understood to be the leading contenders for the two seats."Still obviously the...
