Max Verstappen: “It was a positive day for us'

Max Verstappen finished the opening day of practice for the Singapore Grand Prix in third for Red Bull Racing. The Dane had a good morning session around the Marina Bay Street Circuit as he topped the time sheets with a time of 1:45.823, 0.049 seconds ahead of team-mate Daniel Ricciardo, leading to a one-two finish for the Milton Keynes-based outfit, while in Free Practice 2, Verstappen finished in third, again ahead of Ricciardo, finishing the session with a time of 1:44.532. After practice today, Verstappen believes it will be an interesting battle between Red Bull, Mercedes AMG PETRONAS and Scuderia Ferrari this weekend, with all three teams close together in pace so far. “It was a...
