Pérez gets combined eight-place penalty

– Sergio Pérez has been handed a combined eight-place grid penalty for separate infractions during qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix.Pérez was investigated for allegedly failing to slow significantly for yellow flags when Romain Grosjean crashed his Haas at Turn 10 during the closing stages of Q2.Further around the lap, more yellow flags were shown when Jenson Button stopped his McLaren in the run-off at Turn 16, having brushed the wall a few corners earlier.Pérez was deemed to have contravened regulations by passing Esteban Gutiérrez while yellow flags were being displayed, before going on to complete his lap."[Pérez] failed to reduce his speed significantly and be...
