Grid drop for Sergio Perez after stewards inquiry

Singapore Grand Prix – Force India's Sergio Perez has been given two separate grid drop penalties after being found to have committed two offences under the yellow flags. Perez set his best time of Q2 at the end of the session, just after the yellow flags had come out to cover the crash of Romain Grosjean. Setting a 1:44.703, Perez made it through to Q3 but there were immediate doubts over his position due to the timing of his lap. The stewards duly investigated, and Perez was summoned to explain two separate incidents.
