Ricciardo: We can still win this season if it rains

Daniel Ricciardo missed out on victory at the Singapore Grand Prix by less than half a second, after a ballsy pursuit of eventual race winner Nico Rosberg, and the Australian believes that the next best chance of a win this season will be if and when it rains. Speaking to Auto Hebdo, Ricciardo said,  'I want a victory by the end of the season. In the dry, [Singapore] was probably our last chance. But if the rain comes when we want it, it could still work out.'   The Red Bull driver has yet to win a grand prix this season, although he did come close at Monaco, where his team botched his pitstop and cost him a place on the top step of the podium.
