FIA confident Sepang track issues resolved
The FIA are confident that Sepang bosses have taken 'every reasonable precaution' to ensure that next weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix goes ahead without any issues. Earlier this year the Sepang circuit was resurfaced with the new asphalt causing problems during a MotoGP test with water seeping back to the surface after the track had dried. Officials found a solution with the FIA reportedly happy that next weekend's Malaysian GP will go ahead without any problems, even if it does rain. An FIA spokesman told Autosport: 'There seems to be little or no problem. 'From what we gather, it takes a little longer to dry out.
