Jolyon Palmer: “I made the wrong call on set-up “

Jolyon Palmer admitted his qualifying performance was far from perfect after missing out on progressing to Q2 at the Sepang International Circuit on Saturday. The Renault Sport F1 driver will ultimately start down in nineteenth behind the two Sauber drivers, and revealed that he made the wrong call with his set-up changes in between his first and second runs in Q1 that left him more than three-tenths of a second away from progressing. Palmer admitted it was frustrating not to progress after showing good speed earlier in the weekend, and will be looking to make amends with his performance on race day. “I’ll be frank; my lap was pretty far from what it should have been,” said Palmer....
