Rosberg edges Hamilton in first practice

– F1 championship leader Nico Rosberg topped the timesheets during Friday morning's first free practice session for the Japanese Grand Prix, ahead of Mercedes team-mate and title rival Lewis Hamilton.Rosberg posted a best time of 1:32.431 on the Soft compound tyre to finish two tenths up on Hamilton, as Mercedes led comfortably.Rosberg, who heads Hamilton by 23 points, was not entirely happy with his car, however, describing "monster understeer" over the radio.Ferrari finished third and fourth, with Sebastian Vettel just over a second adrift of Rosberg, and Kimi Räikkönen three tenths further back.Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen, after their 1-2 finish in Malaysia...
