Hamilton and Rosberg to test 2017 tyres for first time
Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will get their first taste of Pirelli’s 2017 rubber next week, Motorsport.com has learned, as they commit to taking part in the next round of tyre testing. Pirelli’s efforts to prepare the new wider tyres that are being used in Formula 1 next season are ramping up, with the Italian company set to conduct a crucial week of running with the mule cars after the Japanese GP. Mercedes will run at Barcelona in Spain on October 12/13, prior to Red Bull running at Abu Dhabi on October 14-16.
