Austin FP2: Rosberg on top chased by Ricciardo
Formula 1 world championship leader Nico Rosberg, in the Mercedes, ended the first day of the United States Grand Prix weekend at the top of the timing sheets. Rosberg set a best time of 1:37.358 and ended the day two-tenths of a second up on Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo, with FP1 pacesetter Lewis Hamilton a further tenth of a second behind in third. Sebastian Vettel was fastest of the Ferrari duo in fourth place, with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen the only other driver to finish within a second of Rosberg’s top time. The Force India duo of Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez were sixth and seventh respectively, followed by Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso in the McLarens. Kimi...
