Vettel admits Ferrari struggling more in Austin than Suzuka
Sebastian Vettel admits Ferrari simply did not have the pace to use soft tyres in Q2 for the United States Grand Prix, as used by its main rivals, and that it was worse than Suzuka two weeks ago. While both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, as well as Red Bull's Max Verstappen, used the soft compound in Q2 in order to start the race with it, Vettel and teammate Kimi Raikkonen had to use the supersofts to make sure they could reach the top 10 shootout. The soft compound is believed to be the optimal choice for the start, given the degradation the supersoft has suffered this weekend.
