Force India an option but no contact yet - Nasr

Felipe Nasr admits Force India’s vacant seat could be an option for him in 2017, though the Sauber driver adds that he has not had any contact with the Silverstone-based outfit yet. With Nico Hulkenberg joining Renault next year, Force India has an opening alongside Sergio Perez. A series of names has already appeared on the rumour mill, which includes Mercedes protégés Pascal Wehrlein and Esteban Ocon, but also Nasr’s team-mate Marcus Ericsson. After being linked with a move to Williams in replacement of Felipe Massa, Nasr himself has emerged as a candidate for the second Force India drive.
