Sir Frank Williams recovering from pneumonia
– Sir Frank Williams is recovering from pneumonia, the outfit has confirmed.Williams, whose team arrived on the Formula 1 grid in the 1970s, has maintained a regular paddock presence, despite handing over the day-to-day running to daughter Claire three years ago.However, both have missed recent races, and Williams Group Chief Executive Officer Mike O'Driscoll has revealed that the 74-year-old was taken ill at September's Italian Grand Prix."He's had a tough time in hospital, he's contracted pneumonia," said O'Driscoll."He is making a recovery, a slow and steady recovery, and we hope to see him back at [the Williams team's headquarters in] Grove very soon – we all...
