Palmer to miss qualifying with cracked chassis

Jolyon Palmer will not take part in qualifying for the Mexican Grand Prix after Renault found a crack in his chassis. The Briton had been competitive in FP3, finishing the session 14th overall and 0.4s clear of team-mate Kevin Magnussen. However, Palmer will not take part in Saturday afternoon's qualifying session as Renault needs to change his chassis ahead of the race.
