Felipe Nasr 'pretty confident' of staying in F1 next season

Felipe Nasr says he is feeling “pretty confident” about his chances of remaining in Formula 1 for the 2017 season. The Brazilian driver is currently in his second season with the Sauber team, but it has been a tough year. Nasr scored six top 10 results in his rookie F1 campaign in 2015, including fifth place on his debut in Australia. But Sauber hasn’t scored a point since his ninth place at last year’s United States Grand Prix and is currently last in the 2016 standings with two races, including Nasr’s home event in Brazil, still to go. He has yet to confirm his plans for 2017 and feels Sauber might be the easier option, but other opportunities out there...
