Alonso hints at future Porsche/WEC deal

Fernando Alonso has dropped a major hint he will race for Porsche in the World Endurance Championship in future in a tribute message to Mark Webber. The Spaniard has been linked with a Porsche drive for a number of years, with a provisional deal to race in the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours understood to have fallen through, with Nico Hulkenberg eventually getting the drive and winning the race on debut. Webber retired from sportscar racing at the end of this season, with this weekend's 6 Hours of Bahrain his final race.
