2016 World Champion – Nico Rosberg

Formula 1’s newest World Champion Nico Rosberg celebrated his first ever title after claiming second spot on the podium at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Rosberg, who is the son of World Champion Keke Rosberg, did what he needed to do and finished on the podium to edge out his team-mate and rival Lewis Hamilton on the Drivers’ Championship. Interviewed by former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard during the post-race celebrations, the German held back his tears of joy and shared his thoughts on his title winning Grand Prix and what being a World Champion means to him.
