Force India's new VJM10 flies through crash tests

 XPB Images Force India has announced that its 2017 chassis has already passed all of the mandatory FIA crash tests, and at the first attempt. All Formula One teams have to submit their new cars for safety testing before the start of the new season. The testing is particularly important this year because of new aerodynamic and tyre regulations being brought in, which have resulted in major changes to the chassis compared to last year. "We've passed all of our FIA tests which is great, first try," Force India's chief operating officer Otmar Szafnauer told Racer.com this week.
