Petersen Museum honours Dan Gurney

The renowned Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles will honour the great Dan Gurney in an impressive exhibition marking the 50th anniversary since the F1 legend's banner 1967 year. As one of the greatest all-rounders in motorsport, Gurney competed on multiple fronts during his distinguished career and, more remarkably, was successful in all. In 1967, Gurney kicked off his season in March with victory in the non-championship Race of Champions F1 race at Brands Hatch. But in June later that year, the lanky American succeeded the incredible feat of winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Belgian Grand Prix in the same week!
