Liberty give hope to British GP and German GP

Liberty Media are keen to grow Formula 1 by going to new venues, but at the same time are keen to maintain the classic grand prix venues which gives hope to races happening in Britain and Germany in the future. The sport's new CEO told The Sun, 'We will have a British grand prix. The foundation of the sport is western Europe. We want to grow it. There's a negotiating dynamic that exists but we want a healthy relationship with our promoters.' With Silverstone sending mixed signals about the future of Formula 1 at the venue, Carey said, 'We have Silverstone in the UK but I recognise it is not in London.'
