Toro Rosso announces launch date for 2017 F1 car

Toro Rosso will launch its 2017 Formula 1 car the day before official pre-season testing starts at Barcelona in Spain. The Faenza-based outfit will reveal its Renault-powered STR12 in the pitlane at the Barcelona circuit on Sunday February 26. Its drivers Daniil Kvyat and Carlos Sainz will be joined by team principal Franz Tost and technical chiefs James Key and Ben Waterhouse for the unveiling. Toro Rosso’s launch comes at the end of a week when most teams are expected to reveal their new challengers. Force India, Renault, Mercedes, McLaren and Ferrari are all holding bespoke launch events, while Sauber and Haas are expected to reveal their cars after filming days at Barcelona. Toro...
