Giovinazzi tests for Ferrari
Antonio Giovinazzi got his first taste of a Ferrari F1 car as he tested the 2015 SF15-T at Fiorano on Thursday. The Italian was runner-up in the GP2 Series last year and will serve as Ferrari's reserve driver in 2017. Giovinazzi ran a test programme approved by the FIA to compare data gathered from the simulator with the information gathered at the track. "It was a wonderful feeling, as this was my first time driving a Formula 1 car. For an Italian, driving out of the pits in a Ferrari is an amazing experience," said Giovinazzi.
