Palmer sees 'Renault stamp' for 2017
– Renault has been able to put a "proper stamp" on its 2017 Formula 1 challenger and should enjoy a more competitive campaign as a result, according to incumbent Jolyon Palmer.Renault struggled on its full-scale return to Formula 1 in 2016, following a delayed takeover of the cash-strapped Lotus, and took just three points finishes en route to ninth in the standings.It quickly switched focus to this year's technical overhaul, while embarking on a recruitment drive, and Palmer is hopeful that, despite Frédéric Vasseur's recent exit, the team will take a solid step forward."Fred left, which was a shame, but we've still got [Managing Director] Cyril [Abiteboul] and...
