Exhaust Issue sidelines Perez for the afternoon
Barcelona Testing – Sergio Perez was only able to complete 39 laps in the VJM09 after encountering exhaust issues in the afternoon session. The Force India team made a reliable start to testing, completing the third-highest lap count of the morning session. Despite the strong start, the team were unable to complete any more laps for the remainder of the day due to the technical problem. 'We had an exhaust issue so we had to stop in the afternoon,' explained Perez. 'The team is planning to be out early tomorrow.'
