Kevin Magnussen: “Today’s been a day I’ve enjoyed a lot”
A late flying lap saw Kevin Magnussen end his first official test day as a Haas F1 Team driver with the fourth fastest time, with the Dane completing fifty-one laps of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Monday. Following his move across from the Renault Sport Formula 1 Team, Magnussen had a few issues at the Spanish track, stopping at the end of the pit lane and spinning and brushing the barrier during the morning session, which broke the front nose of his VF-17. However, despite this, the Dane felt it was a typical day of testing, and admitted that the car felt nice to drive, and will continue his testing programme on Tuesday before he hands over the car to team-mate Romain Grosjean...
