Ricciardo confident on Mercedes challenge
Daniel Ricciardo is confident Red Bull can challenge Mercedes over the course of the 2017 season. Red Bull have made a low-key start to testing in Barcelona, with team principal Christian Horner saying a few 'niggling issues' have held them back slightly. But the RB13 has shown good straight-line speed so far, and Ricciardo is optimistic about the season ahead. 'We can beat them,' Ricciardo told Sky Sports News HQ. 'We've got the same set of rules as everybody else so there's no reason why we can't across the course of the season.
