McLaren not divorcing Honda

McLaren have laughed off speculation they are considering divorcing Honda and insisted they are "happy with their marriage" to their struggling engine partners. In the wake of a troubled-filled start to pre-season testing, reports in the Spanish press speculated the former F1 superpowers could seek an early split from Honda, with whom they dominated the sport over 20 years ago, just two years after they renewed vows. However, team boss Eric Boullier told Sky Sports F1's Ted Notebook: "Our relationship with Honda is very good. We are happy with the marriage but we have to make it work."
