Wehrlein back in F1 action at Barcelona

– Pascal Wehrlein has returned to Formula 1 action with Sauber at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, following the back injury he sustained at the Race of Champions.Wehrlein was advised by doctors to sit out the opening test last week, having picked up the injury when he rolled his Polaris Slingshot at the ROC in January.Wehrlein was replaced by Ferrari reserve driver Antonio Giovinazzi in the C36-Ferrari last week and flew to Zürich for medical checks over the weekend.Sauber confirmed on Monday that its new recruit had been given the all-clear to return to the cockpit, and the Mercedes-backed youngster completed his first laps in the car on Tuesday morning.Wehrlein will remain in...
