Williams: Lowe signing a 'game-changer'
– Williams' signing of Paddy Lowe as its new Chief Technical Officer will be a "game-changer" for the outfit, according to Deputy Team Principal Claire Williams.After months of speculation, Lowe's arrival at Williams was finally confirmed on Thursday, the 54-year-old Briton also joining the company's Board of Directors and becoming a shareholder.Williams' last race win came in 2012, courtesy of Pastor Maldonado, while it has not won a title since 1997, when Jacques Villeneuve triumphed.Williams, however, reckons Lowe, who will oversee the engineering operation at Grove, can galvanise the workforce and spark a return to winning ways.Over 29 years in the sport, Lowe has...
