Williams officially announce Paddy Lowe as Chief Technical Officer

Williams have confirmed that Paddy Lowe will join them as Chief Technical Officer, following his departure from Mercedes. Returning to the historic team after a 25-year period, Lowe will take on management responsibility for engineering operations as the team’s Grove base. He will also join Williams Group’s Board of Directors. Lowe was rumoured to be leaving the world champions after the end of the 2016 season, before confirming his departure from Mercedes in January to be replaced by James Allison. “I‘ve always had a deep respect for Williams – my first team in Formula One.
