Magnussen rues 'messed up' qualifying runs
– Haas' Kevin Magnussen admitted he "messed up" his qualifying runs through overdriving as he was knocked out of Q1 at the Australian Grand Prix.Magnussen endured a disrupted start to the weekend amid balance woes and a water leak, the latter consigning him to a garage for much of FP2, before he finished inside the top 10 in FP3.Magnussen nonetheless entered qualifying without having trialled the Ultra Soft tyres, and went wide at Turn 12 on both of his Q1 runs, leaving him down in 17th place on the grid."I went off the track in Turn 12 on both of my laps – I'm really annoyed with that," he said"The car was there in qualifying.
