Renault optimistic on race pace improvement

Renault chief technical officer Bob Bell has said the team 'know what to do' in order to be more competitive in races this season. Nico Hulkenberg and Jolyon Palmer both qualifed in the top 10 at the Bahrain Grand Prix, but the former fell from P7 to P9 while Palmer was last of the finishers. “We need to find more pace on Sundays, we just lack race pace,” Bell told Motorsport.com. “We knew that going into the race. 'We’ve got a reasonable view on where we’re losing and why it’s happening, so we’ve just got to deliver on the bits that will restore that. It’s a combination of tyres and aero, and getting them to work under all circumstances....
