McLaren/Andretti unveils Alonso's Indianapolis 500 livery

The livery Fernando Alonso will run at this year’s Indianapolis 500 has been unveiled, with the car featuring a predominantly papaya orange scheme, in a nod to McLaren’s history at the event. Alonso will attempt to race at this month’s event, in a one-car McLaren team, run by Andretti and powered by Honda engines. Alonso will get his first taste of the super-speedway later on Wednesday, when he takes to the track at Indianapolis as part of a private test.   It will mark McLaren’s first presence at Indianapolis since the 1970s, when it claimed three victories, in 1972 (in association with Penske), 1974 and 1976.
