McLaren enters eSports to find F1 sim driver
– McLaren has teamed up with Logitech G to enter the eSports arena, with the winner set to fulfil a role as one of its official Formula 1 simulator drivers.The 'World's Fastest Gamer' competition will be pit gamers against each other across multiple platforms, in order to discover the 'champion of champions'.Six international finalists will be hand-picked by gaming experts in the summer, with another four qualifying through events which will be held later this year.A finale will be held at the McLaren Technology Centre in the autumn, where alongside gaming, the hopefuls will have to prove engineering knowhow, team ethics, as well as displaying mental and physical strength.The winner...
