Todt to stand for third term as FIA president

FIA president Jean Todt has announced that he will stand for a third term later this year. Todt originally took up the post back in 2009, and the FIA is due to hold its next presidential election in December. Todt announced via Twitter that he will stand again to stay as president until 2020. "Today I was proud to announce to all FIA Club Presidents my decision to run for a third presidential term at the FIA," he wrote.   The Frenchman had said earlier this year that he was under pressure from his voters to stand again.
